How Uni-Cycle works
A local community marketplace for families to pass on outgrown school uniforms, Scout & Guide kit, sports gear and youth group equipment — list items to sell, swap or give away, or post what you're looking for on the Wanted board.
Step 1
Search your area
Find uniform and kit by school, club, category or postcode radius. The map can default to your location so you see what's nearby first.
Step 2
List or claim in seconds
Snap a photo, set it free or a cash price, and choose collection or local delivery. Search for your school or club and add it to the directory if it's missing.
Step 3
Contact the seller
Use the Contact seller button to chat privately on-platform and arrange a school-gate collection. Messages are private to the two of you. You get an email when someone messages you, and you can block anyone you don't want to hear from.
Step 4
Pass it on
Mark it Sold and watch your Uni-Cycled count grow. Every item kept out of landfill is a win.
Zero transactions
Uni-Cycle handles no money, no checkout, no escrow. Any payment is arranged directly between families — we just help you find each other.
Open data, no paywalls
Location lookup uses the free Postcodes.io and OpenStreetMap. Missing your school or club? Add it to the directory in seconds.
Your account & safety
- Edit your profile (nickname, bio, show-email) any time in My account.
- Block any user from messaging you, and delete your own messages.
- Export or delete your data, or close your account, under GDPR.
